Development Opportunity in Leicester

Leicester Regeneration Company is on the verge of delivering one of its major projects.

The company is looking for development partners for the Science and Technology Park, based at Abbey Meadows in the city and has extended the deadline for submissions to Friday, April 29, 2005.

Expressions of interest are invited from potential partners for the 3.7-hectare development site for the first phase of the science park. Phase 1a will comprise up to 3,700 sq m of business incubator units (part ERDF funded) to be fully designed and tendered, by the partner acting as project manager.

The partner will then be required to develop and fund the build out of the remainder of the site, this will comprise up to 7,000 sq m of high quality business space for science and technology based SMEs.

Peter Conboy, Development Director at LRC, said, “There has been a lot of interest in this project and we have extended the deadline to make sure everyone who wants to explore this exciting opportunity has the chance to find out more.”
