The masterplan is a vision for change in central Leicester over the next 10 years. It is regeneration with a purpose – it examines the long-term needs of Leicester – its economy, jobs structure, housing supply, shopping and general image and asks what physical change in central Leicester can contribute to all these. It was prepared by Roger Tym and Partners and launched in November 2002.
